Trick 1:

Panda-type polarization maintenance - symmetrical majesty

 

Insert two "panda eye" stress rods (actually borate glass) on both sides of the fiber core.

 

Principle: These two "dark circles" pull the optical fiber desperately, causing asymmetric stress inside the fiber core.

 

Effect: As soon as the optical signal comes in, it is "fixed": "Only vertical shaking is allowed, not horizontal shaking!"

Directly make the fiber core into a "bow tie shape" to physically block the road to other polarization directions.

Features: Panda-type/bow-tie-type optical fibers are optional, extinction ratio>25dB, and the operating wavelength covers 780nm~2μm.

 

2. Polarization-maintaining fiber splitter (PM Coupler)

 

Breakthrough: 1×2/2×2 splitting based on fused cone technology, polarization-dependent loss (PDL) <0.1dB, and supports harsh environments of -40℃~85℃.

 

3. Polarization-maintaining isolator (PM Isolator)

 

Advantages: Reverse isolation>40dB, suitable for narrow linewidth lasers (such as EML), and helps CPO (co-packaged optics) packaging miniaturization.
